When you study SFI, you take the test to see if you can pass a course and are ready for the next one. If you take a test and pass, you may have the right to the SFI bonus.
Time to do the test
It is your head teacher at the school who makes the assessment if you have achieved the aims and proficiency requirements that are described in the syllabus for SFI. The syllabus can be found on Skolverket's website. When the teacher assesses that you have achieved the aims of the course, he or she will tell you that it is time to take the test. Registration for the test at the school must be received no later than 14 days before the exam date. Talk to your teacher and discuss when you think the time is right to take the test.
The test and grade dates for SFI in Stockholm City are listed on the website. If you study SFI at a folk high school, the dates for tests do not apply, talk to your teacher about what applies to you!
