We have the final results! The City of Stockholm hosted the 61st edition of the Eurovision Song Contest – one of the world's largest broadcasted TV-events. We gave you two weeks of music and festivities and a unique experience of Stockholm. The Eurovision Song Contest final in Stockholm drew a large number of international visitors and generated SEK 263 million in revenue for the Stockholm-region.

It was by coming together we were able to create the magical moments and the success of hosting the Eurovision Song Contest 2016. Thank you SVT for trusting us. Thank you all artists, musicians and DJs who displayed fantastic entertainment in Kungsträdgården and on Skeppsbron. Thank you to all students from schools in Stockholm who performed with singing, dancing and acting. Thank you for all the events in Farsta, Vällingby, Husby/Kista, Skärholmen and Rågsved/Högdalen.
Thank you to all the co-workers in the City of Stockholm who contributed. Thank you Stockholm Globe Arenas who made it possible to use all your venues in an amazing way. Thank you to our security organization and all the guards, thank you all team leaders, delegation hosts and volunteers. Thank you to all bus drivers and hotel staff. Thank you to the City of Stockholm’s communicators, who assisted almost 2 000 journalists for two weeks in our press center.
